How To Treat Gastritis Naturally

When the gastric mucosa becomes inflamed, has redness or small hemorrhages, it is because we suffer from gastritis (an increasingly frequent pathology).

Eating an unbalanced diet, taking certain drugs, or the presence of H. pylori bacteria are the main causes. In this article we will tell you how to treat it naturally.

Natural remedies for gastritis

The typical burning or pain in the pit of the stomach accompanied by nausea and heartburn that occurs about two hours after eating is known as gastritis. The good news is that there are several homemade recipes that can help you mitigate the usual symptoms :

1. Licorice

It is an ancient remedy that treats digestive problems in general. It is considered more effective than any antibiotic in killing H. Pylori bacteria . Dried licorice root should be consumed in an infusion.

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon of dried licorice root (10 g)
  • 1 cup of water (250 ml)

Preparation

  • Put the water and the liquorice in a saucepan.
  • Heat until it comes to a boil.
  • Cook 10 minutes and remove from heat.
  • Let cool for about 5 minutes, filter and drink (you can add a tablespoon of honey to sweeten).

2. Ginger

  • 1 cup of milk (250 ml)
  • 3 tablespoons of rolled oats (30 g)
  • 1 tablespoon of honey (25 g)

Preparation

  • Heat the milk and when it comes to a boil, reduce the heat.
  • Add the rolled oats and cook for 10 minutes.
  • Transfer to a container and add the honey.
  • Mix well and consume when warm.

8. Parsley
