6 Tips To Prevent Premature Wrinkles
As we well know, wrinkles are marks on the face that denote old age. However, between the ages of twenty and thirty, premature wrinkles often appear, especially on the forehead, under the eyes, above the lips, on the sides, etc.
They are called premature wrinkles because they appear when you are still young.
In this article we share some tips to help prevent and fight premature wrinkles. In this way, you can wear a young and radiant face for longer.
Massage your face
The face suffers from daily tensions, a consequence of stress, overwork, worries, annoyances, arguments, etc. In the same way that we suffer from contractures in the back or pain in the joints, the muscles of our face also stiffen. This, in the long run, causes the main premature wrinkles to appear.
For example, those who tend to frown may see premature frown lines appear. That is why it is important to realize those gestures that we habitually make to stop doing them.
An alternative is to perform a gentle but firm self-massage on the face and neck every night :
- Perform a forehead smoothing
- Massage around the eyes gently
- Don’t forget to massage the tip of the nose and lips.
- Make circles on the cheeks
Make faces
Another way to avoid wrinkles that appear due to gestures is, precisely, to spend a few moments at different times of the day, just when you notice those gestures or other tensions in the face (eyes, jaw, etc.), to make all kinds of faces.
It is enough to take a couple of minutes to make all the faces that occur to you with your face.
For example:
- Open and move your mouth, sticking out your tongue
- Open and close your eyes, look around
- Puff out the cheeks
- Move the tongue inside the mouth
- Move the nose
- Wrinkle and relax the forehead
This simple and fun exercise can help relax your face right away. It can even help you look more rosy instantly.
Nourish yourself with oils to reduce premature wrinkles
Wrinkles often appear on undernourished skin, which is lacking in vitamins and minerals. Although these can be achieved with a good diet, from the outside you can also provide many nutrients by applying vegetable oils.
We recommend some of the best known according to your skin type:
- For oily skin: coconut oil
- If you have combination skin: jojoba oil
- For dry and mature skin : rosehip oil
You can take advantage of and combine the facial massage that we mentioned with these oils, so that the skin absorbs them well and in the process relax your face.
Protect yourself from the sun
The sun is beneficial for the skin and health in general, since it promotes the synthesis of vitamin D, whose function is important for the body.
The problem is that we tend to take it aggressively, at the hours of more radiation and too long in a row. In these cases it is necessary to protect the face with a cap or hat, and adequate sun protection.
Hydrate yourself
The skin also dehydrates, and in fact it is one of the most affected areas depending on whether you drink more or less water. The ideal would be to drink between a liter and a half and two liters of water daily.
Take care of yourself inside
Another important aspect is food. A healthy and balanced diet will help your body work better in general, and therefore will also benefit your skin.
First of all, it should be noted that there are foods that promote malnutrition and that, in this way, we should reduce as much as possible:
- Sugars and sweeteners
- Fried and refined oils
- Refined flours
- Artificial additives
- Red meat and sausages
Instead, we will increase the consumption of the following foods:
- Vegetable oils of first cold pressing: olive, coconut, flax, wheat germ, sesame.
- Fruits and vegetables, raw (salads and juices) and cooked
- Integral cereal
- Vegetables
- Nuts and seeds
- Good quality meat, fish and eggs
